Job Description/Duties are:

  • Prepares tests, methods, and procedures to ensure continuous improvement to software quality assurance and serviceability standards. 
  • Analyzes test results to ensure existing functionality and recommends corrective action. 
  • Ensures that system tests are successfully completed and documented and all problems are resolved. 
  • Debugs software products through the use of systematic tests to develop, apply, and maintain quality standards for company products. 
  • Performs development and execution of software quality methods and processes. 
  • Implements and defines testing methodology and standards to improve results.
  • Responsible for testing systems and applications software.
  • Design and create test conditions and scripts to address business and technical use cases
  • Use existing tools and techniques to execute test cases and build/script new tools for performing testing/validation function
  • Generate scripts to perform automated testing cycles using (primarily) Mercury Interactive/HP products (Quality Center, QTP, etc)
  • Execute and analyze automation test results
  • Participate in troubleshooting and triaging of issues with different teams to drive towards root cause identification and resolution 
  • Document, track and escalate issues as appropriate, using Quality Center or similar tools/means 
  • Support production deployment of applications and perform “validation testing” during the off-hours maintenance windows 
  • Designs and codes from specifications, analyzes, evaluates, tests, debugs, documents, and implements moderately complex software applications
  • Monitor program execution for expected performance 
  • Modifies, installs, and prepares technical documentation for system software applications

Minimum Qualifiications:

  • Bachelor Degree in Computers, Electrical, & Electronics or equivalent
  • 2 or more years of experience in the same technologies is preferred

Job Description/Duties are:

  • Administer multiple platforms and operating systems such as Windows, Linux, and UNIX and vulnerability scanners.
  • Perform patching and remediation of Operating Systems. This includes monitoring and coordinating with the internal Applications team for patching. Manage Symantec Endpoint Protection and Forefront Identity Manager.
  • Maintains Operating System to provide optimum performance and system availability.
  • Supports software vendor to ensure application software is installed correctly and all current maintenance levels have been applied.
  • Creates and maintains environment for running batch jobs associated with daily batch cycle and batch reporting subsystem.
  • Troubleshoot problems reported by users; Make recommendations for future upgrades.
  • Maintain integrity of the network, server deployment, and security.
  • Monitor networks to ensure security and availability to specific users. Evaluate and modify system's performance.
  • Maintain system efficiency and Ensure design of system allows all components to work properly together.
  • Ensure network connectivity throughout a company's LAN/WAN infrastructure is on par with technical considerations.
  • Design and deploy networks & Perform network address assignment.
  • Assign routing protocols and routing table configuration.
  • Assign configuration of authentication and authorization of directory services.
  • Administer servers, desktop computers, printers, routers, switches, firewalls, phones, personal digital assistants, smartphones, software deployment, security patches.
  • Maintain and administer applications, operating systems, and hardware related to Windows/UNIX Workstation/Servers based operating systems.
  • Provide hands-on/virtual desktop support 24x7 in accordance with mission requirements.
  • Provide monitoring capabilities of user level centrally managed hardware, OS, and applications related to Windows based systems.
  • Manage and administer all aspects of user account management such as password, group, and privilege management
