SharePoint Portal Migration

• Introduction – Active Solutions’ intranet portal designed in SharePoint Portal Server 2003. It contains branded master pages, custom templates, and 75-100 sites. We were approached by Active Solutions to migrate SharePoint 2003 intranet portal to SharePoint Portal 2007 aka Microsoft Office SharePoint Portal Server (MOSS).
  
  
• Technologies used – SharePoint Portal Server 2007 (MOSS), SharePoint Designer 2007, ASP.NET, Master Pages, Style Sheets (CSS), Web Parts, SharePoint Portal Server 2003
  
  
• Accomplishments – We analyzed the intranet portal, number of documents, and number of sites and sizes, and custom branding. We migrated 0.5 GB size intranet portal within 2 weeks apart from analysis phase.
  

SharePoint Portal Custom Development

• Introduction – Bluetooth SIG needed to custom brand their Intranet Portal, which is designed in SharePoint Portal 2007 (MOSS)
  
  
• Technologies used – SharePoint Portal Server 2007 (MOSS), Themes, My Sites, features, SharePoint Designer 2007, feature stapling, Custom Templates, ASP.NET, Master Pages, Style Sheets (CSS), Web Parts
  
  
• Accomplishments – Analyzed the customer branding requirements built multiple layouts. Our team developed custom master pages and style sheets (CSS). We designed and developed feature stapling to my sites and Site Themes for Intranet portal.
  

.NET Secure SOAP Adapter

• Introduction – ADP Taxware planned to offer Tax and pay roll services to clients, who have .NET technologies to integrate their applications so we were approached by ADP’s Vendor to develop the custom Adapter.
  
  
• Technologies used – C#.NET, .NET 3.5, SSL, Client Certificates, Server Certificates, mutual authentication, Web Services, Java, Visual Studio 2008, Eclipse, Data Power
  
  
• Accomplishments – Developed custom generic adapter to consume ADP Taxware web services. The advantage of this adapter is to provide uninterrupted service in event of web service changes and addition of new web services to the stack. We were proud that our solution supposed to be first implementation using the combination of technologies to solve the ADP Taxware unique problem. This is most secure application in using Client certificates, Server certificates and communicated using Secure SSL/TSL tunnel. We also developed custom application generate and install certificates into key certificate store.
